By participating in the information collection phase, Finnish quantum experts have the chance to directly engage in the rollout of the recently published Finnish Quantum Strategy 2025-2035
As part of the execution of the Finnish Quantum Strategy 2025-2035, InstituteQ is inviting the Finnish quantum community to participate in the ongoing development of a national Quantum Technology Roadmap.
This first phase of this work was a surveying phase, wherein contributions from all individuals working in quantum in Finland were collected. The aim of this survey was to gather expert perspectives on the development needs, research questions, key milestones, and enabling factors within these important technology areas.
The deadline for replying to the survey was June 13, 2025 (now closed). We would like to thank all of those who have already replied to the survey.
Additionally, participants now have the opportunity to provide comments on the first draft of the roadmap, which is ready for review and is accepting comments until August 26, 2025.
This quantum technology roadmap consists of three primary focus areas:
- quantum computing
- quantum communication
- quantum sensing
