By participating in the information collection phase, Finnish quantum experts have the chance to directly engage in the rollout of the recently published Finnish Quantum Strategy 2025-2035
As part of the execution of the Finnish Quantum Strategy 2025-2035, InstituteQ is inviting the Finnish quantum community to participate in the ongoing development of a national Quantum Technology Roadmap.
This first phase of this work is a surveying phase, wherein contributions from all individuals working in quantum in Finland are welcome. The aim of this survey is to gather expert perspectives on the development needs, research questions, key milestones, and enabling factors within these important technology areas.
The deadline for replying to the survey is June 13, 2025. We would like to thank all of those who have already replied to the survey.
Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to provide comments on the first draft of the roadmap upon its completion, which is tentatively scheduled to be ready by the end of Summer 2025.
This quantum technology roadmap consists of three primary focus areas:
- quantum computing
- quantum communication
- quantum sensing
The scope of the survey is intended to capture responses from a wide audience, and therefore not all sections of the survey may be relevant to each participant. Regardless, any and all contributions are valuable during this phase, so feel free to browse the survey and answer the sections that are most relevant to your background.
Answering the survey

You can return to the survey using the same personal link to continue and finalize your submission. This will prevent any loss of data should unexpected priorities arise before you’ve answered all the sections you intended to.
